This will be the 8th Annual Decatur Highland Games. The Decatur Highland games evolved from a private event held by the Hamilton Family of Decatur into a County wide event to be held every fall. Athletes register to qualify in August & practice for the Heavy Event Competition. Both Men & Women are invited to Compete as long as they’re a resident of Adams County. The Games are held at Riverside field and the Fort Wayne Scottish Pipes & Drums will play at 11 am with the Opening Ceremonies beginning at 11:30 am. Fireworks sound & music from the bagpipe band lead to the past champions parade and the lighting of the cauldrons. Events are as follows:

The Highland games are a family friendly event with food & drink vendors, kid’s games & Awards for the athletes. The Dress of the day is Celtic attire. So put on your kilt & join us for some fun at the Decatur Highland Games!
