10th Annual Motor Sports Hits Downtown
The 10th annual Decatur Motor Sports Festival came to down town Decatur on Friday June 18th. The evening began under cloudless skies with everyone enjoying themselves. As the evening progressed clouds gathered and by 8:00 p.m. it was decided to end the event early so everyone could get home before storms hit. Awards were presented at 8:00 p.m. and everyone had left the downtown area by 8:30 p.m.
A new addition this year was judging for motorcycles. Six magnificent bikes
entered the competition.

- Best Engine: Chuck Glenn – 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner
- Club Participation: Archbridge Kroozers
- Best Bike: Mark Winget - 1980 Harley Davidson XL
