Electric Tan is Decatur's premier tanning salon! It has been awarded the Decatur Daily Democrat Reader's Choice Certificate of Excellence many times! We offer our valued customers products of the highest quality, beds that are completely sanitized and regularly maintained, and ambiance that can't be found anywhere else. Electric Tan has been under new ownership since 2004, and has undergone expansion and extensive remodeling to include a different theme in every room! This salon features five entry-level twenty-minute beds, a twelve-minute stand-up booth, a twenty-minute high performance bed, and a twelve-minute super tanning bed with face and shoulder tanners. We accept walk-ins or appointments to work around your schedule. Electric Tan primarily features Designer Skin products, which are some of the best in the business! We also carry "the Tannie" to protect your hair from fading or over drying, protective eyewear, and samples of almost every kind of lotion that we carry. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff has been certified by the International Smart Tan Network, and is ready to answer any questions you may have about the tanning process or about the salon. Electric Tan has been an integral part of this community for several years. We have contributed to many charitable causes throughout the years including Decatur Operation Help, local high school fundraisers and events, and other local charity events.
