Schultz to Present Third State of the City

The Decatur Chamber Luncheon series resumes in January when Mayor John Schultz presents his third State of the City address.

Mayor Schultz is a life long resident of Decatur and a graduate of Decatur High School. He joined the family business, Baker and Schultz, in 1971 serving as president until 2007.

John served in the U.S. Army and did one tour of duty in Viet Nam. He is a member of the American Legion and VFW. He is also an active member of the Decatur Optimist Club. John has been married to his wife Brenda since 1969. They have three children and six grandchildren, with number seven due later this year.

The popular Chamber Luncheon Series allows community and business leaders to interact in an informal situation and hear a presentation of interest to business leaders. The luncheons are held at the Woodcrest Campus dining center.
