Callithumpian 2011
Rain threatened all day but thousand were on hand for the 2011 Callithumpian Parade. The annual parade is one of Decatur’s largest events, and a large crowd enjoyed watching over one-hindered parade entries.
The Parade stepped off on Monday, October 31st, Halloween night, with Eric Mann in the honored position of grand marshal.The weather was picture perfect and a large crowd of goblins and other scary creatures were evident throughout the evening.
The 2011 edition of the parade included eight competing band, thirteen floats, many commercial entries and several politicians. Riders from the Indiana Patriot Guard joined the parade for the second time this year.
